Dear Young CCC members,
we would like to invite you to a lecture by Martin Distel.
Cancer modeling and phenotypic drug screening in zebrafish
How can zebrafish be applied in cancer research and drug discovery?
Current cancer modeling strategies and trends towards automation for high-throughput drug screening will be discussed.
The recently established “Zebrafish platform Austria for preclinical drug screening” (ZANDR) will be presented, a platform open to the scientific community.

This workshop focuses on communication situations in the conference context, such as networking (small talk) during conference coffee breaks or before/after meetings as well as chairing and moderating conference sessions or introducing speakers. The flexible workshop format also allows taking participants' individual interests and needs into consideration. For each conversation situation, typical phrases and idioms will be presented and practiced.
