The Austrian Societies of Toxicology (ASTOX), Pharmacy (ÖPhG), Analytic Chemistry (ASAC), and Forensic Medicine (ÖGGM), and the Comprehensive Cancer Center Vienna (CCC) are pleased to announce a joint scientific symposium. The organizing committee cordially invites you to participate and to submit abstracts.
The symposium will be held at the University of Vienna, Faculty of Life Sciences, Althanstraße 14, A-1090 Vienna, Austria.
SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMME
The two main conference subjects this year will be “Predictive Toxicology in Drug Development” on March 21st as well as “New Developments in Forensic Toxicology” on March 22nd, 2013. The discussion will be initiated by excellent and up-to-date keynote lectures:
Gerhard Ecker, Vienna, on the emerging field of Pharmacoinformatics.
Marcel Leist, Konstanz, “Transcriptomics responses and functional endpoints in new human cell based test systems for developmental neurotoxicity"

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
The organizing committee invites you to submit abstract(s), indicating your preference for either short communication or poster presentation (abstract form attached or available at ASTOX homepage by week 5/2013).
On principle, contributions to the this year`s main subjects as well as to other subjects in toxicology, e.g. carcinogenesis, inflammation, reactive oxygen species, ADME, chemoprevention, ecotoxicology, risk assessment, regulatory toxicology, etc. are welcome.

Please register by email to bettina.grasl-kraupp@meduniwien.ac.at. Deadline for submission of abstracts: February 21st, 2013. Notification on acceptance and mode of presentation (short communication or poster) will be communicated to authors by March 8th, 2013.
Deadline for registration of participants not submitting an abstract: March 11th, 2013.
